Hollywood Celebrities’ Favorite Vacation Destinations
Hollywood celebrities are some of the biggest cash earners known to man, which means that they have more to spend. While they own expensive cars and real estate, they, too, like to explore the world around them. They have been everywhere, but there are some places that they just like going back to again and again. Either they are in for the beach or for something else, there are places captured their expensive and refined tastes. Here are some of them.
St. Barts, Caribbean
St. Barts is one of the more popular vacation spots among the rich and famous. Almost everyone who has gotten a big enough paycheck or has appeared in the tabloids once might have been to St. Barts. With the beauty of the place, it is really no surprise.
Some of the celebrities who are frequent visitors to this island include royal hip-hop couple Beyonce and Jay-Z, Jessica Alba and more. Visitors bask in the tropical sun and sample their many cuisines while in St. Barts, but the place has more to offer than just that. Tourists can enjoy a relaxing treatment at their many luxury spas, go scuba diving, jet skiing, sailing, shopping or enjoy its prolific nightlife. Regardless if you are in for some rest or for the crazy parties, St. Barts is truly the place to be.
Anyone who has ever seen an Adam Sandler movie might have seen it set in Hawaii itself, or would feature some Hawaiian elements. This is because the veteran comedian is totally crazy about this beautiful place. Katy Perry says that she absolutely loves Kuaui, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian also revealed that they could not get enough of Honolulu while pop icon Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz and Will Smith are head over heels with the tropical island.
This magical place has always been a favorite of celebrities, but it has started to lose its charm due to exotic offerings from the far east. However, this is still one of the best destinations for a vacation.
Saint Tropez, France
After being promoted by actress and model Brigitte Bardot, Saint Tropez has become a hotspot for Hollywood personalities. This beautiful place has now been frequented by the likes of Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Cindy Crawford, Rihanna, Victoria and David Beckham, P. Diddy, Kate Moss and a lot more.
There are plenty of fine dining spots in this place and some museums, beaches, hiking tours, boating trips and yacht tours for those who can shell out a little bit more. This place also offers a great nightlife.
Bora Bora, French Polynesia
Aside from its beauty, Bora Bora has been a favorite tropical getaway for Hollywood stars because of the privacy that this place can offer. Stars can make the most out of their trip by booking a high-end bungalow that stands on stilts above the water. These accommodations have their own entrance to the ocean and a great view as well.
Some celebrities that have been here include Nicole Kidman, Rob Lowe, Charlize Theron and the Kardashians. There is a lot that this tropical paradise can offer, including coral gardens, volcanoes, and beaches.
Mykonos is a remote destination that has grown to be a favorite for celebrities who want some time out of the limelight. Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise love this place so much that both of them bought their own houses in this place where they stay for weeks at a time.
Other celebrities who fell in love with this place include Sofia Vergara and the Kardashians. Mykonos has a very unique and relaxing atmosphere. Visitors can spend their time sunbathing, snorkeling, enjoying the sights in Little Venice or with the windmills.
With constant exposure to attention and prying eyes, celebrities sure do enjoy some time in a remote place with the sun, sand and sea. These places have captured their hearts and have become a place that they can call home when they are not preparing for their next projects or strutting down the red carpet.
