5 Most Luxurious Wedding Venues In The World
Getting married is a really big deal as you show everyone in the world that you are about to become one with the person who you are going to spend the rest of your life with. While romantic, it can get really expensive, especially for wealthier couples who have a lot more to shell out. Here are some wedding venues which are favorites for luxury seekers.
Belmond Hotel Caruso – Ravello, Italy
This venue is set on a cliff that overlooks Italy’s wondrous Amalfi Coast. This 11th-century palace is one of the most romantic places in the world to get married in. The hotel has bathrooms clad in marble, private gardens, Neapolitan style bedrooms, frescoed ceilings, and even a 900-year-old Duomo of Ravello.
While here, you can also enjoy dining at an upscale restaurant, have drinks at their piano bar, or at their outdoor underwater bar. You can also unwind at their luxury spa or work out in the fitness center. As to where your wedding could take place, you have two options. The first is a ballroom reception that features a four-course dinner and a ceremony that takes place by the pool. The other is what they dub as the “ultimate takeover package,” where guests can occupy all 50 rooms that the hotel has. Wedding packages held here can set you back by up to $430,000
One & Only Reethi Rah Resort – Maldives
Everyone who ever had thought of getting married might have entertained having it by the beach. This is one of the most luxurious beach wedding venue options that there is right now. This property sits on a 109-acre island where visitors enjoy a breathtaking view.
The One & Only Reethi Rah has 128 private villas, each of which has its own private pool. The resort offers wedding packages where you can enjoy arrangements that are tailored towards making your dream wedding come true. This can include personalized menus, music, couple spa, and private dining. One night at this resort can cost you about $7,000.
The Biltmore Estate – Asheville, North Carolina
The Biltmore Estate has been in existence since 1889. This venue is a private mansion that will give you an idea of what it is to be a billionaire in the 19th century. The estate has 250 rooms and over 8,000 acres of very detailed gardens and landscaping. This property holds the record for being the largest private-owned house in the USA and is still decked in architecture that will take you back in time.
This could be the perfect wedding venue for those who want a unique and historical place to get married. There are several options from within the property itself where you can host your wedding. These include an Italian Garden, the Lioncrest Grand Ballroom, and a sprawling front lawn. A wedding package set here starts at $50,500.
MolenVliet Wine Estate – Stellenbosch, South Africa
This gorgeous setting is located on the banks of the Dwars River in the Banhoek Valley and is rated as one of the top destination wedding venues in the world, as suggested by both The Noveau Romantics and Easton. Your wedding can be set in its landscaped gardens or in the midst of its vast vineyard. A wedding package can host 14 guests for three nights and can cost around $10,000.
New York Public Library – Manhattan, New York
New York City hosts some of the most luxurious and romantic wedding venues out there. While it is primarily made for hosting a wide collection of books, it has gorgeous marble interiors and a really high ceiling. This venue is a rare setting for a wedding and it is pretty close to impossible to book a spot here unless you are willing to shell out a big enough amount.
Weddings typically take place at the Celeste Bartos Forum or the Astor Hall. Both can be rented out or you can just pick one. The venue can host as much as 450 guests, but you would need to enlist the services of a professional wedding planner to make a booking. Prices start at $50,000.
It could be a beach, a historical place or an old mansion. Regardless what you prefer, there is a luxurious wedding spot for every preference.
