Angelina’s Eldest is Off to College!
Angelina Jolie may be one of the most famous people in the world, but recently she experienced what many ordinary humans like us go through – facing the fact that our child will be going away to college soon. Yes, one of Jolie’s kids is off to college – her eldest, Maddox Jolie-Pitt.
As to how the mother of 6 is feeling with Maddox attending college in the fall, she said she’s couldn’t be happier and more proud with her 17-year-old child, spreading his wings. Maddox is the eldest among the 6 kids who Jolie shares with ex-husband actor Brad Pitt. The couple’s 5 other children are Pax, Zaharah, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Their first 3 kids have all been adopted while the other 3 are biological children of the once ‘It’ couple of Hollywood.
It’s not clear yet what Maddox’s choice of University is, however the mom and son duo may have dropped some hints recently. While Jolie, accompanied by her son Maddox, went to South Korea recently as she was the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee (UNHCR) Special Envoy, for an official visit, they were seen out and about checking two schools there.
Although the actress has not retired from acting, she spends a lot of time attending political and current global events, including the UNHCR event she went to Seoul for. Jolie is also an activist for women’s rights, and one of the issues she’s calling for are more women peacekeepers to be deployed by the United Nations to war-torn countries. Speaking of her acting career, Jolie spending time on activism doesn’t mean that she dropped all her film commitments. In fact, she has a film that’s soon to be released, the sequel to her 2014 Disney film Maleficent, which is Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The film also stars one of its original casts, Elle Fanning, who played Aurora in the first film. A big cast addition is the gorgeous Michelle Pfeiffer.
