Most Common Hobbies Only Rich People Can Do
There are just endless of ways to actually have fun, but then again, not every hobby is suitable for everyone. Normal people tend to have hobbies such as playing or watching sports such as basketball, baseball, football, and more, as well as many other things. Most ordinary people think that people who belong in the high society actually has a different point of view when it comes to having fun, which is absolutely right. One thing is for sure though, rich people know exactly how to do it right in such a fancy way, and here are a couple of the most common hobbies rich people do for fun.
Back in the day, it seems like only the likes of Amelia Earhart could actually do flying for fun since they are licensed aviators. In fact, she was the very first female aviator to ever cross the Atlantic Ocean, however, if you have billions of dollars in the bank, you could definitely afford to have your own flying gear and learn how to fly helicopters or planes.
It costs approximately $100,000 to take aviation classes, so obviously, only wealthy people could actually spend this much money on learning how to fly.
RACE CAR DRIVING
This is actually one of the most common hobbies of people from the high society. Either they are watching or racing themselves. If you happen to be a billionaire and loves racing cars, then you should definitely get your own race car which costs like at least a million and joins racing events that are most of the time for charity. This hobby definitely cost a fortune, but it is extremely fun, it’s just not really for everyone.
Another hobby that also cost a fortune is sailing. Either you could rent a yacht for thousands of dollars, or get your own that cost at least $10 million, some exceptional ones even cost $500 million. That price could definitely feed an entire country, that is why only multi-millionaires could afford such a hobby. There are also events such as Volvo Ocean Race that obviously involves having a yacht, and it’s normally held in Dubai, that is attended by the wealthiest people in the world.
Finally, another common hobby by the rich and famous is polo. If you have ever played polo or have ever watched a polo match before, then you must belong to the high society, because only the rich and famous gets to have an invitation to a polo match.
This is known to be a classic rich game, these polo matches are commonly attended by the members of the royal family, such as Prince Harry along with Prince William and Duchess Kate.
According to sources, it takes thousands of dollars to get a membership in the country club that hosts polo matches, so if you don’t belong to the high society, you wouldn’t most likely get to play or watch a polo match.
Just because they are too busy making millions of dollars, it doesn’t mean they simply don’t have time to actually do the things that they love and have fun. You know you are wealthy enough if you enjoy these kinds of activities and you manage to do these at least once a year, but if you don’t, then maybe you need to climb a higher ladder, nothing is impossible though, just make sure that if you wanna try any of these, you wouldn’t go bankrupt. Also, just because they are rich, doesn’t mean they can’t do what ordinary people do. There are some billionaires who choose to do the simplest things, and that is perfectly understandable.
