5 Hotels With The Most Expensive Accommodations in the World

Hotels are a place to get some rest and recreation. Over time, they have evolved to give their clients unforgettable experiences and this is also why some of them have grown to become crazy expensive. In fact, with some hotel per-night rates, you can already purchase a new car or an apartment in another country. Here are the most expensive accommodations known to man as of 2017.

Four Seasons in New York City

You can book the Ty Warner penthouse at this hotel which will set you back by $45,000 per night. This is the highest hotel room in New York City and it has a 360 view of the city. The room is so luxurious that it took seven whole years and cost the developers $50 million to build. The room itself has its own reception area, an art gallery as well as a large library. Despite the cost and its size, this room can only house three with accommodations for a child, if that child happens to come from royalty.

Their website describes the master bathroom as entire clad in custom slabs of rare Chinese onyx. It has sinks carved from blocks of crystal and are underlit with LED lighting. You can also unwind in your own infinity soak tub or a steam rain shower with six body jets. Even the toilet is something to boast about as it has remote sensors and a heated seat. The walls, sink and ceiling in the powder room are made from tiger’s eye stone.

Palms Resort in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is the place to be if you are to blow a lot of money or win some, if you get lucky. It is no surprise why it also hosts some of the most expensive hotels there are. The Sky Villa at Palms Resort Las Vegas is worth $40,000 a night. For that amount, you can enjoy a private glass elevator, a dry sauna, a 24-hour butler service and a glass spa that spills over the balcony and gives you a view of the strip.

There are a lot of Sky Villas that you can choose from and each is designed differently. The most luxurious of them all is called the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa, which is named after the Playboy Magazine founder.

The Burj al Arab in Dubai

A list of anything luxurious would not be complete without Dubai in it. The Burj al Arab has been labeled as the only seven-star hotel in the world. While most other hotels get a spot on this list by just having a suite, this hotel does not offer cheaper options. You can only book luxury suites here.

All of the room on the Burj al Arab are duplexes and even the cheapest would cost you $2,000 a night. This does not even include taxes and fees yet, while the most expensive costs around $12,000. For this price, you get around with their fleet of Rolls Royce, Mercedes or helicopter hotel transfers. They also offer personal butlers, four swimming pools and a private beach. Overall, this could be the most expensive hotel in the world.

Raj Palace Hotel in Jaipur, India

When in India, you can book the Shahi Mahal Suite at the Raj Palace Hotel, which will cost you $45,000 per night. This prolific suite is a huge one with six bedrooms, a library, a private theatre, kitchen with staff and all those luxuries and amenities that make it a perfect setting for a Bond villain with chaperones. The place is designed with Indian architecture, making you feel like Indian royalty for a night.

Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, Switzerland

When in Geneva, you can book the Royal Penthouse Suite at the Hotel President Wilson, which is the most expensive accommodation of any kind in the world. This room costs 60,000 Francs per night or about $68,000. It has hosted numerous prominent figures such as Michael Douglas, Bill Gates and more.
