John Legend and Chrissy Teigen Ready to Say Goodbye to their Beverly Hills Mansion

Grammy-winning singer and pianist, John Legend, and his wife Chrissy Teigen, known for her incredible modeling career, being the author of her cookbook Cravings, and for being unapologetically herself, only recently surprised their fans with the news of the new addition to their family. It looks like they just couldn’t wait long enough before dropping another major bomb!

If you’re into Chrissy’s frequent cooking tutorials on IG, prepare yourself to watch the broadcast from a brand new kitchen. That’s right, the Beverly Hills mansion that was the couple’s family home since 2016, has been put up on the market with a whopping price tag of $23.95 million!

The magnificent house, which was previously owned by Barbadian singer, songwriter, and businesswoman, Rihanna, features an entirely black exterior. The whole place is decorated with muted tones and includes rich accents like steel-rolled walls and a custom-made complex patterned ceiling which is imported from Thailand, where Chrissy’s mother is originally from.

Altogether, the mansion consists of seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, with the master bedroom exquisitely standing out, boasting a concrete and brass fireplace, which adds plenty of texture to the space.

The entry parlor boasts a 33-foot ceiling and is the perfect spot for Legend to display his piano and his numerous awards. From here, visitors are led to a huge living area that holds a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and a big window that gives a view of the saltwater pool and the beautiful views of Los Angeles beyond. The fireplace kind of stands between the formal living area and the more casual sitting area and kitchen, where a lot of cooking videos are filmed featuring the whole family.

A month ago, the couple announced they were expecting their third child in John Legend’s new music video, Wild. That being said, we’re still unsure if the growth of their family was the reason they decided to leave their old home behind. That is very unlikely to be the case, though, because how could they ever need “extra space” in a 7-bedroom mansion?

According to several media outlets, the couple recently purchased a newly built contemporary residence in West Hollywood, consisting of 4 bedrooms, for $5.1 million. At the same time, they also bought a Manhattan triplex for $7.7 million. So, I guess it’s safe to say that the family has multiple options when it comes to where they’d want to live next!
