Tippi Hedren is the matriarch of one of Hollywood’s most enduring acting families. Most remembered for her performance in The Birds by Alfred Hitchcock, Tippi is also the mother of actress Melanie Griffith, which makes her actress Dakota Johnson’s grandma. Tippi has also been famous for her love of animals. In fact, in the 70s, she and her family lived in their fabulous Sherman Oaks home with Neil, a full-grown lion, and six other cubs. However, this came to an end when Melanie, then a teenager, needed plastic surgery after being clawed in the face by one of the animals, which led to Tippi starting the Shambala Reserve.

Bob Newhart is a real legend in the field of comedy. He has countless movies to his credit, as well as his popular sitcoms, The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart. To this day, many recognize Barbara Eden as Jeannie of I Dream of Jeannie. The 77-year-old actor Beau Bridges shows no sign of retiring anytime soon. Bridges comes from a family of actors, as his father is the famous Lloyd Bridges and his brother is Oscar winner Jeff Bridges. Jack Nicholson, 81 years old – Mulholland Drive, ~ $595,000

Mulholland Drive has become famous because of two main reasons, David Lynch immortalized it through his famous mystery thriller Mulholland Drive in 2001, and it has been associated, since the 70s, with the Hollywood bad boys Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson. Thus, the place has been nicknamed ‘Bad Boy Drive’. Perhaps because Nicholson’s home is safely secluded within its private canyon, he decided to walk around his home without any clothes on, for months at end. The actor has owned the house since 1975 until he put it up for sale in 2012, finally conceding with the talk that the house is cursed. Nicholson bought it for $49,000 in 1975 but the selling price is reportedly $595,000. In case you didn’t know, this was the same place where director Roman Polanski indecently assaulted a 13-year-old girl. Polanski was charged but fled the United States before he was given his sentence. Nicholson was out of the country when the crime happened.
Jane Fonda, 82 years old – Beverly Hills, ~$13 million
Looking at Jane Fonda today, it is very hard to believe that she is already 82 years old as she is still an extremely attractive woman. She can certainly still command an audience, if the success of her recent film, Book Club, is any indication. She also wears the most fabulous dresses at red carpet events, which makes her a real style icon, even in her 80s.

The 13-acre estate has a 12,816 square foot home with 7 bedrooms, all named after country music legends (such as Reba, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash). apart from a chef’s kitchen, there is an 8-car garage, guest house, wine room, equestrian center, barn, home theatre, and so much more. It’s located right next to Old Hickory Lake, which just makes it even more amazing.
Ali MacGraw, 81 years old – Santa Fe, Value unknown

Ali MacGraw became an overnight sensation when she starred in the cult classic Love Story. She would later star in The Getaway opposite Steve McQueen, which would become the start of a very famous love affair. This ended in divorce and Jerry Lee was able to avoid bankruptcy by making a spectacular comeback. By the 70s, he was already back at the top of his game. Around this time, he purchased his beloved Lewis Ranch in Nesbit, Mississippi, which is close enough to his beloved city of Memphis. He and his family have lived in the ranch since then. Today, it is actually open to the public as a museum where fans can take a guided tour to see snippets of Lee’s life.
