When famous celebrities get married and have children, people cannot help but expect that their offspring will eventually inherit their good looks. Of course, it is to be expected as well that these well-known parents would also pass on their vast wealth, especially when they retire.
A sort-of “passing the torch” happens, especially if their kids also inherited the talents that made them famous in the first place. Although not quite pronounced, most kids of famous celebrities do tend to head on the same industry. Halle Berry and Nahla Ariela Aubry at Age 15
Hollywood actress Halle Berry of Catwoman and Gothika fame, is known to be a notoriously private mom, who keeps her own private life and that of her two kids on the down low. Her oldest daughter, Nahla is now 15!
Nahla was born to Halle and her Canadian model ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, but they are not together any more. Nahla is a regular 15-year-old, who attends school and keeps away from the cameras and social media.
Melissa Gilbert and Michael Boxleitner at Age 28
Actress Melissa Gilbert has been acting since she was a child and her most famous role was acting in Little House on the Prairie. Melissa was married to American actor Bruce Boxleitner from 1995 until 2011, when they divorced. They have once son together named Michael.
Michael, now 28, followed his parents’ footsteps and became an actor, too. He began his acting career with the movie Bug Buy Adventure, and was also seen on Guest Artist and Necroland. He continues to act today and is looking for more projects.
Milla Jovovich and Ever Gabo Anderson at Age 12
Here’s another example of children emulating their parents and choosing the same career path as theirs. Ukrainian-origin actress Milla Jovovich, who is known for her roles in Hellboy and The Messenger met and married the director of her Resident Evil movie series, Paul W.S. Anderson and they started their family together.
Of their three children, their eldest daughter Ever Gabo, has a unique name which the couple took from a Scottish boy’s name. She’s just a teen but everyone predicts a bright Hollywood career is in store for her! Ever has acted in Peter Pan, Black Widow and her mom’s own Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
Channing Tatum and Everly Tatum at Age 7
These days, actor Channing Tatum is in the news for his various dating exploits, ever since he divorced his wife of 10 years, actress Jenna Dewan. But he is the star of movies like Magic Mike, 21 Jump Street and Step Up, which also starred his ex-wife.
Channing and Jenna were blessed with a daughter who they still co-parent together, after a heated custody battle. 8-year-old Everly looks adorable and although it is open for debate, looks a lot like her dad, doesn’t she? Everly is also big sister to Jenna’s son from her current relationship.
Farrah Fawcett and Redmond O’Neal at Age 30
She may have starred in just one season of the famed Charlie’s Angels TV show, but leading star Farrah Fawcett would leave everyone with an everlasting memory of her in that role. The later actress also acted in The Sin Million Dollar Man and The Guardian.
On the personal front she was married once, but her only child, Redmond O’Neal, was born from her relationship with actor Ryan O’Neal. Redmond, now 35, tried becoming an actor but most of his projects were related to voice acting, such as in the cartoon Johnny Bravo. He has been in and out of rehab since his teens and has also been arrested multiple times on various charges, and even blamed his parents for his legal and drug addiction issues!
