Would you believe that some famous celebrities who you thought had passed away or had retired are still very much alive and working? The first movie to be evert shot in Hollywood was the silent movie In Old California, all the way back in 1910! The movie-making industry only thrived after that and over the years we have had some amazing actors.

Nehemiah Persoff, 101 Years Old

In a career spanning 52 years, actor Nehemiah Persoff has essayed many roles and lived a long time receiving many accolades and the adoration of his fans. His list of acting credits is impressive, to say the least. Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Wild Wild West, The Legend of Jesse James, Gilligan’s Island,  Hawaii Five-O and Mission: Impossible are just a few feathers on his cap. As old age set in and his medical issues increased, he finally listened to his medical doctors and retired in 1999 and moved to California. Not the one to remain idle even after retiring, he started making watercolour paintings and is said to be a very good artist.
