Greg Abbott is an attorney, former jurist and Republican politician who has been serving as the governor of Texas since 2015. As the Governor, he, his wife and their adopted daughter live in the 8,920 square foot Greek Revival style Texas Governor’s Mansion.

The historic home, which has been the Texas governor’s official residence since 1856, has 25 rooms and 7 bathrooms. Unfortunately, in 2008, the Mansion was terribly damaged by arson, after which it was extensively restored. They now accept visitors thrice a week.
