Dutchman Tony Beets is a larger than-life personality on Discovery Channel’s show, Gold Rush, and he works in the Klondike to search for gold. He came to the US from the Netherlands in 1984, and survived by milking cows! Those struggling days are gone now, as he is said to be worth $15 million, all thanks to his hard work and risk-taking as a gold miner. Besides making as much as $25,000 an episode of Gold Rush, he has claimed quite a lot of land on Paradise Hill, Scribner Creek, and Tamarack/Tony Indian Rivers, where he mines for gold, and keeps the profits for himself.
