Parker Schnabel’s name may not be synonymous to rich and famous, but he is definitely considering the money in his bank account.  Parker is only in his early 20s, but he made his money through his investments in gold mining.   His gold mining business is not the only one, though, where his money comes from, because he also gets a salary from his appearance in the Discovery Channel’s Gold Rush Alaska.  Yes, he is a television star, not far from how the Kardashian – Jenner clan got famous; he is also followed around by a camera crew as he goes about his business mining for gold.  Because he likes to keep a low profile despite of him having plenty fans, there is only limited information out there from the young miner.

Parker Schnabel was born and raised in Alaska, and the reason why he is good at what he does is because he has been around the mining business all his life.  He inherited John Schnabel’s skill in mining, who is his grandfather, by the way.  Parker was born in Haines, Alaska, away from the life of the big city.  This may be the reason why Parker is not comfortable with the camera and city people.
