It is the place craved by even celebrities to come to as it is an extremely upscale city in the sunny state of California, full of marvelous restaurants, beautiful homes, and pricey shopping spots.

To live in this locality, one needs to make huge sums of money. It was once a town that had a lot of movie stars. It is looks familiar because of the TV show Beverly Hills, 90210 about a bunch of wealthy teenagers living there. Then there’s the old black and white show on TV titled The Beverly Hillbillies. The cult classic movie Pretty Woman was also shot around here, at the Beverly Hill Regency hotel. It’s safe to say that Beverly Hills is legendary and is the most famous neighbourhood in Los Angeles, known the world over for unparalleled beauty.

Beverly Hills is well known for it’s palm-lined Rodeo Drive, luxurious hotels, bustling cafes and unique boutiques. In many ways Beverly is basically a huge Rorschach test; as you keep exploring it, you see what you see based on the experiences you have had. It can be over-the-top with it’s flashy cars, expensive stores, arrogant people and too many tourists. Most of that ostentatious around the place that’s called Rodeo Drive. As soon as you turn into the neighbourhoods and it’s as tame and boring as any other suburb, only with humongous nice homes.

A House up for Sale

Gwen Stefani the singer, 49, purchased the 15,500-square-foot estate with her then husband Gavin Rossdale, 53, in 2006. The seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bath residence has had big Hollywood ties even before Stefani laid her eyes on it. The pair however split in August 2015, and the singer, who is now dating Blake Shelton, is keen to let go of this real estate remnant of her marriage. Gwen Stefani intends to make a clean break from her estate in Beverly Hills. The Voice judge and No Doubt front-woman has sold her huge hilltop mansion, which is called The Summit, for a good $21,650,000. That’s much less than the $35 million price tag she had initially priced for the home in January 2017, when it was first listed with Westside Estate Agency, and even less than the $25 million, she had re-listed the estate in July, with Jade Mills.

Impressive Amenities

From 2000 to 2004, Jennifer Lopez resided at The Summit. The listing includes impressive amenities of the gated and guarded home- an infinity pool, expansive outdoor living spaces, playground, chicken coop, and lighted tennis court. The huge master suite contains 2 bathrooms and 2 separate dressing areas. The mesmerizing black-and-white decor by Kelly Wearstler celeb-favorite designer, has undoubtedly Stefani’s name all over it. Groovy graphic stripes on the kitchen walls and in the casual dining area, with a pair of mid-century Warren Platner chairs look really good. The living and formal dining rooms boast a very pink sofa and brightly hued dining chairs. A fireplace unites the spaces, sheathed in book-matched stone slabs, patterned floor coverings and great light fixtures. A 1,500-square-foot professional gym on site includes a private sauna and massage room. The decked-out property buyer must really appreciate Stefani’s Harajuku oriented Long Beach style!
